Abstract

751,025. Chain hoist guides. COLUMBUS McKINNON CHAIN CORPORATION. Jan. 21, 1954, No. 1903/54. Class 78 (5). A chain hoist guide- and-stripper unit is formed of two metal stampings 20 held together by a bolt or boss passing through aperture 30 formed in the stampings. The chain pulley is introduced laterally through aperture 22, the chain passing up the passage 26 formed between the stampings, round the pulley and down the similar passage 26<SP>1</SP>, and the chain being stripped off the wheel by lugs 29 formed on the stampings. The said unit may be positioned between the two portions of a two-part chain hoist frame. Specifications 629,671, 751,023 and 751,024 are referred to.
