750,552. Diaphragm pumps and compressors. ETABLISSEMENTS A. GUIOT. April 30, 1954 [May 9, 1953], No. 12676/54. Classes 8(1) and 102(1). A pump for liquids or gases comprises two diaphragms 5 pressed apart by springs 30 and fitted with annular members 22, 23 and 24, 25 which are arranged close to each other. The diaphragms are actuated by a lever 55 pivoted at 56 and having a shaped end 57 that projects into the apertures of the members 22 ... 25 ; the other end of the lever is forked and engages an eccentric 18a. The lever 55 may carry a roller 58 having flanges 61 that engage the sides of projections 28, 29 in the apertures of the members 22 ... 25. The pumping spaces 8, 9 are fitted with non-return valves leading to the inlet 12 and also to a delivery aperture.
