Abstract

748,624. Ladies' wraps. RODNEY & CO., Ltd., C. July 22, 1954 [Oct. 8, 1953], No. 27754/53. Class 141. A lady's wrap made of extensible fabric is constructed in the form of an open bag 1 so that, when the arms have been inserted through the armholes 13 and the wrap disposed across the wearer's back, opposite portions of the open edge of the bag can lie pulled round to the front and fastened, e.g. by means of buttons 8 and buttonholes 7. The wrap is preferably made from a single length of knitted fabric, the ends of which are hem-seamed together at 2. A hem 3 is stitched down along one edge, the opposite edge being hem seamed at 12 with the portions 13 adjacent the folds 5, 6 left free to form armholes.
