Abstract
746,958. Sleeping-garments. FAMOUS BATHROBE CO., Inc. July 23, 1954 [July 27, 1953], No. 20788/53. Class 141. [Also in Group XVII] An infant's sleeping garment comprises a sleeping-bag with a closed skirt portion at its lower end, the skirt portion having two or more tucks or folds which are substantially parallel to the end of the skirt and can be released to lengthen the garment. The front panels 3, 4, Fig. 1, are joined to the back panel 2, Fig. 2, along their lower edges by a closure panel 5. The lower part of the skirt is folded up and tacked at 7, 8 so that the length of the garment may be increased by removing one or both of the lines of tacking. The front panels are connected by a sliding fastener 6, and a hinged tab 9 with press-stud 10 covers the operating element of the fastener when the fastener is closed.
