675,351. Fly parts of garments. LIGHTNING FASTENERS, Ltd. Nov. 23, 1950 [Nov. 23, 1949], No. 28655/50. Class 141. [Also in Group XXV] A flap 8 covering the sliding clasp fasteners 3 closing the fly opening of a pair of trousers is not sewn down in order that the fastener tapes may more readily be applied. The bottom end of the fastener tapes are joined by a strip of plastic 13 attached by means of a heated press. The end of the flap 8 may be joined to the fastener tapes by inclusion between the jaws of the press so that it is secured by the plastic strip 13.
