Abstract

301,613. Jackson, J. H. Oct. 28, 1927. Fastening " fly " parts of trousers.-The "fly" opening of trousers is closed by a Lightning Fastener, as shown in Fig. 1, the stringer tapes 1 and 2 being secured to the respective iionts. To hide the fastener and obtain a pleasing appearance, the part 4 of the right leg of the trouser is turned back, as shown in Fig. 2, and the tape 1 secured by stitching 5. The tape 2 is attached to a piece of material 9 secured at 11 to the edge of the trouser material 10. An additional masking strip of material may be added, as indicated in dotted lines.
