745,952. Electromagnets. LICENTIA PATENT-VERWALTUNGS.-GES. Oct. 23, 1953 [Oct. 24, 1952], No. 29329/53. Class 35. [Also in Group XXXVII] A coil bobbin 12 is releasably held in position on rubber buffers 11 by two members 8 (only one shown) which engage diametrically-opposite projections on the bobbin flange and have elongated holes receiving screws 13 threaded into terminal strips 10 which extend to the exterior of the insulating casing 1. Thus by loosening the screws 13 the members 8 may be slid to permit the removal of the bobbin from the centre limb of an E-shaped magnet 4 after first removing a spring-biased armature 16 and its electric contact-carrier 17. The ends of the coil 7 are connected to conducting strips 15 which extend beneath the bobbin flange and are engaged by contact springs 9 apertured to receive the screws 13, whereby the coil is connected in circuit. The magnet 4 is retained on a leaf-spring 6 by a transverse pin 5 located in a fixed stirrup 2, 3.
