[Also in Group XXX] A pump carrier and support, transportable, e.g. by a farm tractor, comprises a frame having side channel members 1, Figs. 1, 2, front and rear cross members 2, 3, fixed front legs 4 and adjustable rear legs 4a. Rollers 10 mounted on the pump bed 9 and running in the channels 1 are adjustable fore and aft by hand-operated screw gear 11 to adjust the tension in the pump driving. belt and locked in adjusted position by pins 13 passing through holes 14 in the channels and selectively through a series of holes 15 in the bed 9. To enable various sizes and types of pumps to be used, angle supports 16 are adjustable athwart the bed 9 by bolts 17 and slots 18 and 19. Arms 21, 23, connect the frame to hydraulic lifting gear mounted on the tractor, so that in moving from one site to another, the carrier and pump may be lifted clear of the ground. Preferably, when transporting the pump the bed and pump are removed to an alternative mounting position adjacent the forward end of the carrier to reduce the loads acting on the lifting gear. 66
