Abstract

742,771. Scaffolding for aircraft. BLACKBURN & GENERAL AIRCRAFT, Ltd., and HALL, J. Nov. 13, 1953, No. 31590/53. Class 20(2). Two cantilever workmens' platforms A and B are temporarily attached to an aircraft and extend in opposite directions. Each platform comprises two parallel tapered girders 1 connected by braces. Four tubes 6 extend through the aircraft fuselage and are connected to the ends of the girder booms. Jacks 10 at the corners of the platform may release the load on the aircraft. Apertures are provided to accommodate propellers and engines.
