742,180. Oven stoves; electric heating. BELLING & CO., Ltd., and BELLING, C. R. Oct. 1, 1953 [Oct. 31. 1952], No. 27458/52. Classes 39(3) and 126. An electric cooker comprises an internal skeleton frame on which the outer panels are mounted, formed as a complete unit of sheet metal parts. The frame comprises a base plate 1 of sheet metal welded to L-section uprights 2. A second plate 3 is secured to the uprights a short distance from the top and forms the floor of a hot cupboard. The tops of the uprights are joined by strips 4 carrying a support 5 for the hot plates and heating elements. Guides 6 are provided on the base plate 1 to receive the oven 7. Sloping members 8, 9 at one side of the base form the floor of a plate warming cupboard. Flanged strips 10, 11 are provided at one side of the plates 1 and 3 for the attachment of a switch panel.
