In a vehicle, movement of a steerable wheel support 7 is limited by a member 1 locked to the support or to the vehicle frame and abutting against the frame or the support, respectively. As shown, a tapered socket in the member 1 is fitted over a stop lug 6 formed on the front crown lug of the forks of a motor-cycle. A .hole 11 is provided in the lug to receive the hasp of a padlock (not shown), the hasp also passing through a groove (as shown) or a hole in the member 1 to lock the latter in position. A boss 9 on the frame steering head lug 10 cooperates with the member 1 to prevent the front forks being moved into its straight ahead position.
