Napped blanketing comprises plain or twill, single or two-ply, fabric having hard-twisted warp yarns and a weft of soft-spun yarns and an equal or smaller number of hard-twisted yarns which occupy the same sheds as adjacent soft yarns. The yarns may be of viscose or acetate rayon, nylon, " Terylene," " Dynel," or " Orlon " (Registered Trade Marks), or blends thereof with or without wool or cotton.
