Abstract
740,050. Rotary compressors. SOC. ANON. A. SAURER.. March 26, 1954 [May 16, 1953, No. 8881/54. Class 110(2) An improved cast rotor, for rotary piston compressors, with helical, hollow teeth 12, 13, 14, has the rotor composed of at least two elements 10, 11 which bear against one another in a plane 21 perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The teeth have cup like cavities 15 open towards one side. The individual elements may be mounted next to one another on a polygonal shaft and held together by a screw connection or soldered or welded to one another and to the shaft. More than two rotors may be mounted on a common shaft.
