739,582. Vehicle lighting control systems. DAIMLER-BENZ AKT.-GES. July 19, 1954 [July 20, 1953], No. 20994/54. Class 38 (4). In a motor vehicle lighting system wherein the forward, side, rear and number plate lamps F, S, Sch and N, respectively, are controlled by a single multi-position switch 1-5 and wherein the vehicle also has parking lamps P intended for use when the other lamps are extinguished, the switch is provided with a further position 6 in which a supply circuit for the parking lamps is established and the circuits of the other lamps are interrupted. A further switch 7 may be associated with the parking lamp circuit to allow either, or both, of these to be energized. The rear lamp Sch is energized only when the side lamps S are in use.
