738,098. Loader attachments for tractors. BLANCH & CO., Ltd., A. B. May 3, 1954 [Feb. 4, 1953], No. 3095/53. Class 78 (3). A loading fork for attachment to the poweractuated draft links of a tractor is mounted on a telescopic luffing boom which extends as it is raised. The fork 45 is mounted on an inner frame 24 which is supported by rollers 28, 30 in channel members 20 and which is adapted to be extended by a strut 41, 42 and toggle links 38, 39 when the channels 20 are raised by the draft links 11. A spring-loaded lost-motion connection 43 between strut portions 41, 42 prevents extension of frame 24 during the initial lift of the fork. When the fork has been fully raised links 38, 39 pass over centre so relieving the spring 19 and preventing the automatic cut-out operating in the hydraulic actuating circuit.
