Abstract

735,616. Resilient mountings. PELLARINI, L., and ROSSETTI, F. Oct. 27, 1953 [Oct. 31, 1952], No. 29696/53. Class 108 (3). A resilient mounting comprises an articulated four-sided frame 1 containing a block 6 of rubber which is bonded to the sides of the frame 1, the block being of parallelogram shape, the mounting being adapted to be stressed from a normal unloaded position (shown), so that the opposed acute angles of the parallelogral are progressively increased. Load is applied through an arm 9, and the member A to which load is transmitted by the mounting, is rigid with the side 2, 3. The load-deflection curve of the mounting (Fig. 5, not shown), has a point of inflexion in the region of normal static load.
