[Also in Group XXI] A heater 11 for supplying warm water to a pair of gloves 1, for preventing a diver's hands being chilled when working in cold water, comprises a tank 12 having a cold-water inlet 13 and provided with a steam coil 15. To prevent overheating the water, a thermostatic unit 17 is provided which opens a valve 18 to permit escape of water when the temperature rises above a predetermined limit. A thermometer 19 is fitted to the tank 12.
