735,350. Fireplaces. JONES & STURDY, Ltd. Nov. 10, 1953 [Nov. 10, 1952], No. 28212/52. Class 126. A fire grate having a back boiler and a flue beneath the boiler is provided with a grid spanning the inlet to the boiler flue and detachably supported on the back of the fire basket or on lugs fixed to the boiler and projecting through the flue inlet. A grid 7 is provided with brackets 11 slidably engaging the bottom bar 10 of the grid and carrying pegs 13 for engagement with the back bar of the grate basket. The pegs 13 may engage holes formed in the grate basket. The grid may be supported by lugs provided on the boiler, or pegs depending from the upper bar of the grid may engage holes in lugs projecting from the boiler.
