Abstract

A penile constrictor for use in cases of psychological impotence is made in the form of a double-walled sheath, the two walls being joined together at their ends to provide an inflatable hollow cylinder. The outer wall is relatively inextensible but the inner wall is of graduated extensibility, so that the inward constriction extends progressively from one end to the other as the appliance is inflated. In a modified form a reservoir chamber is provided, which can be discharged into the constricting chamber, when required, by actuation of a valve.
