734,139. Inflatable life-saving rafts. ELLIOTT EQUIPMENT, Ltd., BUCKING- HAM, J., CLARKE, J. H., GODFREY, J., and CROSFILL, J. W. L. Nov. 30, 1953 [Jan. 15, 1953], No. 1250/53. Class 113 (1). In an inflatable life raft having a tent-like structure for the protection of the occupants, the roof portion 4 has a drain outlet 9 to which is secured a delivery pipe 10, the arrangement being such that when the raft is inflated a collecting basin may be formed in the roof portion by pulling upon the delivery pipe from within the tent-like structure, water gathering in the collecting basin escaping through the drain outlet and thereafter being available from the delivery pipe. When the pipe has been pulled downwardly it may be held in position by a string 11 tied to a clip 12. Specifications 726,832 and 726,833 are referred to.
