A non-return valve for use in inflating the cuff of a cuffed catheter comprises a body 1 with an inlet 7 sealingly secured to a housing 2 and having a stem 4 formed with a passage 6 leading to a part co-operating with a sleeve 11 of resilient material, the port opening into a circumferential groove 10. An outlet nipple 13 is provided on the housing.
