733,787. Agricultural implements. RANSOMES, SIMS & JEFFERIES, Ltd., GARRARD; J. R., and BROWN, R. A. June 5, 1953 [June 9, 1952], No. 14494/52. Class 6 (1). A plough is provided with a cross-shaft 10 which is attachable to tractor power-lifting links, the shaft being provided with bearings 11, 12, one of which is adjustable to effect adjustment of the lateral angle of lead of the plough. As shown in Fig. 5 the bearing 11 is carried by a bracket 21 pivoted on a pin 13 on the plough frame and provided with a slot 15 which cooperates with a bolt 14. The cross-shaft is transversely adjustable and is held in position by a set screw 23 (Fig. 8). In a modification shown in Fig. 8 the shaft 10 is provided with a screw thread 24 which co-operates with a threaded bearing 25 mounted on the bracket 21 to allow transverse adjustment of the shaft 10. The plough may be connected to a tractor having a linkage system as described in Specification 733,850.
