[Also in Group XXX] A tractor winch comprises a detachable gear casing 12, gearing 13-14 driven from the tractor, a winch 21 mounted on shaft 19 journalled in the casing, and a ground-engaging sprag 25. As shown, the gearing 13-14 is of the worm type. The winch may be mounted horizontally, in which case the sprag is mounted on spare lugs 27 the winch being mounted by means of holed flange 20.
