The switch comprises a slidable cam-bar 2 cooperating with a bridging contact arm 3 pivoted in a helical spring 5 and having contact blades 9 co-operable with fixed contact clips 10. The arm 3 moves with a snapaction when the apex of the cam surface 4 on bar 2 moves across the contact arm.
