729,089. Display devices. PHILCOX, C. H. Jan. 8, 1954 [Feb. 23, 1953], No. 4988/53. Class 3 (2). [Also in Group XV] A display device or the like formed from a foldable blank (see Fig. 1, not shown) comprises a body 1 carrying letterpress and/or pictorial matter, two side flaps 2 to be folded' inwards towards a wall and two arms 4 projecting from the flaps to be folded over and secured to a picture rail by pins, tacks, adhesive tape or other means. The body 1 may be square, rectangular or any other shape and the side flaps 2 may have cut-away portions 3 to accommodate the picture rail. The device may be made of cardboard, boxboard or of transparent material, and have a window, and a light may be placed behind the device. A bottom flap may be provided so that the device forms a vase. The arms 4 may be formed at the bottom of the flaps 2 and the blank is preferably scored along lines 5.
