A laminated magnetic core 2 for ignition coils of internal combustion engines comprising a strip of magnetic material wound into the form of a solid bar is characterized in that the individual layers of the core are displaced from one another in the axial direction to give the core the form of a spring which presses against a high-tension terminal 4 of the ignition coil.
