Abstract

724,687. Luggage holders for vehicles. HANSEN AKTIESELSKAP, H. I. Feb. 27, 1953 [Feb. 27, 1952], No. 5522/53. Class 103 (2). A luggage bag for use in a frame 2 on top of a motor car comprises a tarpaulin bag 3 having folds 3a in its top surface to allow enlargement and closed along two or three sides by sliding clasp fasteners 4, 5. The bag is secured to the frame by straps 8 and may be locked by padlocking the latches of the sliding clasp fasteners together and to the rail 9 at the corner 10. A waterproof cover 6 is sewn to one end of the bag and is secured over the bag by straps 7. When not in use the bag is rolled inside the cover 6 and stowed away.
