723,023. Paint brushes. BRITON BRUSH CO., Ltd., and WRIGHT, F. R. March 6, 1953 [March 6, 1952]. No. 5884/52. Drawings to Specification. Class 19. A painting brush head is composed of separate layers of bristle and straight filaments of nylon or like wear resisting synthetic material. Preferably a layer of the wear resistant filaments surrounds a core of bristle, the latter providing the paint holding capacity and the former protecting it from wear. The bristle core may be divided by a wedge.
