Abstract
722,513. Differential speed governors. ULTRA ELECTRIC, Ltd., and SHEEN, H. W. C. May 9, 1952 [July 3, 1951], No. 15777/51. Drawings to Specification. Classes 57 and 110 (3). A differential gear type synchronizing system is used to control the speed of gas turbines in multi-engined aircraft. Master and slave engines drive alternators connected to respective synchronous motors which are coupled to a mechanical differential gear and the output shaft operates the fuel-control valve through speed-reducing gear.
