721,128. Aerials. BROWN, E. P. WADE-. Aug. 19, 1953, No. 22925/53. Class 40 (7). A wireless aerial comprises five electrically conductive elements A, B, C, D, and E, each approximately a quarter wavelength long, radiating in a vertical plane from a central point with one of the elements D forming a common support for the remainder. The electrical connections inside the central junction box G couple the supporting element D with an adjacent element E to form a parasitic element with respect to the unsymmetrical dipole formed by element C as one unit and elements A and B coupled together as the other. The element D is preferably vertical with its lower end secured to but insulated from a suitable support. A coaxial or parallel twin feeder for the dipole may be led up inside the element D if this is tubular.
