Abstract
720,905. Stoves. BECKERS, H. C. April 10, 1953 [April 21, 1952], No. 9741/53. Class 126. A closed stove has a circulation channel for flue gases, defined by a wall forming part of the stove front and by a wall of the combustion chamber, the flue gases entering the arch-shaped circulation channel at the top and being discharged from the bottom ends of the said circulation channel into the chimney, the front face of the circulation channel projecting from the front formed by the doors and the remaining portion of the stove lying within the arch of the circulation channel. The gases enter the circulation channel 4 surrounding the doors 1, 2, 3 of the stove through a damper-controlled aperture 5 and flow to the bottom of the arch and thence to the chimney. A damper permitting direct flow to the chimney is provided. The front of the channel projects from the plane of the doors, and may also project rearwardly into the fire-space,
