718,180. Turnip cutters on tractors. WILSON, A., and WILSON, O. June 19, 1952 [March 20, 1951], No. 6609/51. Class 5 (1) The platform 1 of a turnip cutter 11 is hingedly mounted by a link 6 to the rear part 5 of a tractor frame so that it can be raised clear of the ground by the mechanical or hydraulic lift bar 4 of the tractor. The cutter 11 is driven from the power take-off shaft 9 of the tractor by belts which tighten when the cutter is lowered to rest on the ground.
