717,457. Piston extrusion apparatus. WHEELER, J. E., VOWLES, F. G. R., and GREENSTONE, G. March 27, 1953 [March 16, 1952], No. 25924/52. Class 102 (2). [Also in Group XXIII] In a shaving brush of the type having a reservoir in the handle from which shaving cream may be expelled into the bristles a plunger 4 is provided which has quick pitch helical grooves 5 on its periphery engaging with lugs 3 located on the lower part of the bore of the handle so that the cream is expelled by rotation of the plunger. The top of the plunger comprises a disc 6 supporting a dished washer 8 held by a further washer 9 and a screw, the washer 8 being further secured by spigots 7. Specification 646,949 is referred to.
