Abstract

714,124. Glazing. MORRIS MOTORS, Ltd. Sept. 3, 1953 [July 29, 1952], No. 19121/52. Class 20 (3) A rubber glazing strip comprises a pair of limbs a, b, Fig. 2, with an intervening channel c for receiving a window pane, the base of the channel being interrupted by a continuous longitudinal groove d permitting a hinge-like movement of the limbs and the curing is effected with the base of the channel hinged open but with the limbs a, b abutting at the mouth of the channel. Initially the portions e, f of the base of the channel are inclined to one another and the base of the strip has correspondingly inclined portions g, h. After the strip has been apa sheet metal surround m having a flange p which engages a recess j in the strip.
