Class 16 [Also in Group XVI] A tab for an address printing plate comprises two limbs 1, 2, formed by folding a resilient sheet metal strip about an edge fold, united at the head portion 3 of the tab, one limb 2 being arched at the foot portion 4 and bearing with its free end resiliently on the other limb 1 so as to form an opening-out spring flattenable by lateral pressure. The foot portion of the arched limb is provided, at the junction with the head portion, on both sides with a notch 5 the lower border of each of which is outwardly bent to provide a plate gripping hook 7 releasable by pressing the two limbs 1, 2 together. Alternatively, both limbs. may be arched at their foot portions only, Fig. 5 (not shown).
