741,251. Band clips. JAMIE, R. C. S., and HUNT & TURNER, Ltd. June 14, 1954 [June 16, 1953], No. 16604/53. Class 44. In a band clip of the type provided with two perforated lugs 2, 3 adapted to be drawn together by a nut 10 and screw 8, the band is folded on itself to form a lug 3 of double thickness and the four corners of the base of the lug are raised to form buttresses 5, 5 to prevent bending of the lug. As shown, the lug 2 is of single thickness and is reinforced by buttresses 6.
