Abstract

709,151. Spray-producers. SHELL REFINING & MARKETING CO., Ltd. Jan. 27, 1953 [March 5, 1952], No. 5755/52. Class 69 (3) A device for spraying the under sides of plant leaves comprises a main branch 1 which feeds, via a distributing, head 2, angularly adjustable arms 3, 4 supporting upwardly directed spray nozzles 5, 6. The distributing head comprises cylindrical sections 7, 8, 9 with perforated washers 15, 16 between adjacent sections, the parts being adjustably secured together by a bolt 10 and a wing nut 14. When not in use the arms 3, 4 are folded to lie against the branch 1 and are locked in that position by the wing nut. U.S.A. Specification 1,976,340 is referred to.
