708,615. Roads, runways, floors &c. COLQU HOUN, R. S. Sept. 4, 1952 [Dec. 4, 1951], No. 22271/52. Divided out of 708,563. Drawings to Specification. Classes 20 (4) and 107 A load-distributing structure such as a floor, deck, road or aircraft landing strip comprises a plurality of metal sleepers maintained in spaced relationship and united into a grid by members disposed on one side of and generally perpendicular to them, baulks substantially filling the interstices between whichever is the upper of the sleepers and uniting members, and an upper surface of flexible and waterproof sheeting. The constructions disclosed are the same as those disclosed in Specification 708,563. Specification 642,360 also is referred to.
