Abstract

1,105,264. Air-cushion vehicles. BERTIN & CIE. 15 April, 1965 [20 April, 1964], No. 16217/65. Heading B7K. A flexible skirt on an air-cushion vehicle is attached at its upper edge to a platform or base structure of the vehicle, said upper edge 7 having a square profile which merges into a circular profile at the base 6 of the skirt. The length of each side of square 7 is less than the diameter of the circle at the base 6. The platform or vehicle may support a plurality of such skirts which adjoin closely so that contacting surfaces are planar.
