707,743. Liquid flow indicators. BAYHAM, Ltd., and GEORGE, W. Y. E. March 7, 1952 [March 7, 1951], No. 5502/51. Class 69 (1) In a liquid flow indicator in which a gravity or spring-urged vane is acted upon by the whole of a stream of liquid flowing through a duct to actuate an indicator and/or alarm, the instrument is adjusted whilst in operation by means of a flap a co-operating with the vane j and having a boss b mechanically coupled to an angularly adjustable bush e. The boss b is mounted on a spindle c screwed into the wall of a chamber d having an upper part n curved to accommodate the curved flap a, the boss having diametrical notches h to engage corresponding dogs i on the bush, which latter also is mounted on the spindle c and has liquid-tight packing washers f, g. The angular movement of the bush, boss and flap may be limited by a fixed pin k co-operating with a slot in a flange m on the bush. Specification 540,417 is referred to in the Provisional Specification.
