707,726. Wire-cloths of Fourdrinier papermaking machines. JOHNSON, H. Sept. 22, 1952, No. 23737/52. Class 96 A paper-making machine wire-cloth 5 is strengthened along the edges with a resinous, rubbery or cellulosic plastic material &c. 6, applied to the 'wire as one or two strips for each edge, and hot pressed to envelop warp and weft wires. The reinforcing selvedge thus formed presents edges 6c towards the middle of the wire cloth which are of gently undulating form to reduce the risk of the wire-cloth splitting along them.
