706,167. Saw-tooth generating circuits. TELEFUNKEN GES. FUR DRAHTLOSE TELEGRAPHIE. Nov. 10, 1952 [Nov. 10, 1951], No. 28205/52. Class 40 (6) A sawtooth current generating circuit of the type in which a substantially constant voltage is periodically applied to a transformer, comprises a series circuit resonant at the sawtooth repetition frequency, connected across the transformer. The Figure shows a conventional autotransformer circuit including a damping diode 5 and H.T. boosting capacitor 6. The shape of the initial portion of the current waves in the deflection coils 2 is adjusted by the series circuit 9, 10, 11.
