705,063. Check valves. HIGH-PRESSURE COMPONENTS, Ltd. Nov. 15, 1951 [Nov. 22, 1950], No. 28574/50. Class 135 A non-return valve for use in topping-up liquid in an aircraft oleoundercarriage leg comprises a body 1 having threaded ends 2, 3 for connection in the pressure liquid supply line, a rubber annular seat 4 retained in the body between a ring 5 and a guide sleeve 12 which also serves as an abutment for a loading spring 15 to urge the valve member 13 towards its seat. The valve member is formed with flats on its periphery to provide passageways for the liquid and an annular projection 14 for engagement with the seat 4.
