704,733. Work-holders. JUNG GES., K. Sept. 11, 1952 [Feb. 26, 1952], No. 22839/52. Class 83 (3). [Also in Group XXIII] An angularly-adjustable workholder, especially for surface-grinding machines, comprises a member 1 mounted in a bearing block 7 and having a plane work-engaging surface 1a with two relatively adjustable jaws 3, 4 normal thereto, and a setting plug 18 arranged in a plane parallel to the said surface but not passing through the axis of adjustment, the member being locked in position by clamping elements 22, engaging taper bushes 23 at both ends of a distance tube 24 on the said axis. The member 1 is rotated by gearing 11, 13. 'The angular position is set roughly by a graduated dial 15 and accurately by limitgauges 16.
