Abstract
703,020. Electromechanical filters. WALTON, J. H. D. July 17, 1952 [July 18, 1951], No. 17057/51. Class 40 (8) A frequency filter comprises bimorph crystal input and output transducers 19 and 22 coupled by a mechanical resonance element 16 of greater vibrating mass than the crystals, the latter being connectec to the element through resilient members 18 and 20. Two modes of vibration may be set up in element 16 if desired by placing members 18 and 20 at an angle witl a line parallel to the axis of the filter. As shown element 16 is a ring supported by a diaphragm 13 at the nodal points 15 for a desired mode of vibration.
