702,579. Funnels for liquids. ENGEL, M. Jan. 15, 1952 [Nov. 26, 1951], No. 1114/52. Class 125 (2) A bottle-filling funnel which cuts off the supply when lifted comprises an outer r funnel 1, an inner funnel 4, a valve 7 mounted in the cutlet of funnel 4 and carried by a stem 6 fixed in a bridge 11 of the outer funnel, the arrangement being such that the valve 7 is normally clear of the outlet of funnel 4 but, when the latter is lifted, the valve seats therein, and an additional funnel 8 which is shaped as shown, is fitted with a small , discharge tube 9 and is removable so that the device can be used for filling large or small bottles. The funnel 4 is fitted with a plug 10 which reduces the flow to that which can be passed by the tube 9
