Class 6 (1) A plough for clearing waste land, of the type having a fore-carriage 2 supported on a pair of rollers 1 and carrying a vertical screw-spindle 4 at its rear end, on which is swingably mounted a bearing 8 on the front end of the plough-beam 9. is characterized in that the beam is downswept at its front end so that the bearing 8, in normal working, can be at the same height as the clevis 3 by which the implement is towed. The screw-spindle 4 can be rotated by a handle 7 to raise or lower the bearing 8 and thereby adjust the angle of attack of the share 11. A further adjustment is provided by a roller 16 adjustable by a winch 13 mounted on a limb 12 on the beam 9. A disc-coulter 10 precedes the share to cut trash and guide the plough-point away from stones and roots. For transport, a further winch 14 raises the beam 9 by lowering a wheel 19 connected to the beam by a pivoted arm 18.
