Class 81(2) A dropped foot appliance, for raising the wearer's toe, comprises a calfengaging member 10, pivotally connected to the instep of the shoe by means incorporating a torsion spring which urges the toe upwards. A block 3, secured to the shoe by a screw 4, carries pins 5 which form pivots for a spring having side arms 8 extending to the member 10 and a central loop 7 pressing upwards on the shoe sole.
