[Class 17 (ii)] In a sandle-type shoe having an open toe portion the insole 1 is formed with front extensions 2 and rear extension 3 to form the upper. The ends of the extensions 2 are sewn to a central strip 4 and rear extensions 3 are sewn to a strap 5 the two parts of which are connected by an anklestrap 6. The insole 1 is sewn to a platform 8 to which the wedge 7 and outsole 9 are attached. Specification 564,461 is referred to.
