700,446. Refrigerator doors. MOTOR PRODUCTS CORPORATION. May 8, 1952 [July 16, 1951], No. 11689/52. Class 29 A refrigerator cabinet door comprises outer and inner panels 10. 11, the peripheral portion 15 of the latter being secured by screws 20 to an inwardly turned flange 13, 14 of the former and the corners being reinforced by L-shaped brackets 37 fixed behind the flange 13 and formed with reset parts 43 which serve to accommodate one part 33 of the door hinge 31 secured by screws 45. The flange 13 is also reset at the hinges and brackets 37 are flanged at 38 to fit with flange 14. The brackets 37 are symmetrically formed so that it matters not which is fitted at the hinge side of the door. They have locating parts 48<SP>1</SP> which engage-depressions in the flange 13 to facilitate assembly. A sealing strip 21 is secured between the parts 13 and 15 Along the bottom of the door, a plate 16 having a flange 19 is secured to flange 13 and the part 15 is screwed to this plate.
